Media Car Show Returns to State Street

The fifth annual event will fill State and Front streets with all types of beautiful cars on Sunday afternoon.

Car collectors and fans from all over Delaware County and beyond will descend upon Media for the Fifth Annual Downtown Media Car show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 15.

Media's car show draws hundreds of automobiles ranging from antiques to muscle cars to hot rods and it is free for the public to enjoy.

Last summer's event featured 308 cars and the hope is to bring in around 350 this year, said Delco Cruisers Car Club President Tom Manning.

Plenty of awards are up for grabs, including "The Mayor's Choice," "Best Pin-striping," "Best Engine," "Best Paint" and 35 "Top 35 Trophies," Manning said.

The event will also feature live music and food vendors for car lovers to enjoy while checking out their dream rides.
