Electronic Waste Collection to be Held at Granite Run Mall

A free electronic waste recycling event will be held at the Granite Run Mall on March 10.

A free electronic waste recycling event will be held at the on Saturday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC), the state's oldest environmental organization and Materials Processing Corporation (MPC), one of the few electronics recyclers in the country to hold the highest environmental and quality accreditation, are partnering for the event.

Convenient and responsible recycling of the following materials will be offered.

Computers, laptops, TV’s, printers, monitors, DVD/DVR/VCR, fax machines, gaming consoles, audio equipment, telephones, cell phones, camera/ camcorders, CD/DVD’s and cases, GPA, iPod/MP3 players, remote controls, gaming and computer peripherals.

There is an $8 fee for console televisions.

This is a great opportunity to clean out your garage or basement with total confidence that MPC will wipe clean any data on your electronic equipment and that nothing delivered to this event will end up in a landfill and nothing goes overseas. Everything will be 100 percent recycled.
