Media Patch's Top 2011 News Stories

Check out Media Patch's Top 10 news stories from 2011.

Media Patch's most read stories of 2011 reflect tragedy, new business and the power of a rumor. The top story of 2011 was our attempt to dispel a rumor that the Granite Run Mall was closing. After months of many people saying the shopping mall was closing down, we tried to set the record straight. That story continues to be a heavy hitter today and was read almost three times more than the No. 2 story of 2011. Sadly, we also had several tragic deaths, fires and accidents this year and they too were largely read on Media Patch.

Below is a list of Media Patch's Top 10 news and most read stories from 2011.
