In case you missed the giant lights and cameras on Thursday, the Pennsylvania Lottery was filming its newest commercial here in Media.
Several businesses along State Street, including 320 Market, Earth and State, Fellini's Cafe and Kuta will be featured in the lottery commercial, which is expected to first air the week of February 18, throughout the state.
At Thursday's Media Borough Council meeting, Mayor Bob McMahon said 56 people were in downtown Media working on the filming.
"It was really something," McMahon said. "And it'll be nice publicity for State Street."
McMahon said he spoke with the lottery's location manager and asked why they chose to film in Media and the response was that the team searched the entire Delaware Valley and Philadelphia for the prefect place to film, from both a creative and logistical perspective, and Media was that perfect place.
Many of the local businesses were able to snap some great photos and were nice enough to share them with Media Patch. Check out the photos supplied by 320 Market, Kuta and Deja Vu Salon.
If you snapped a picture of the filming, feel free to add it to the photo gallery.
