I think there are many "special interests" regarding this project. I have a special interest because I walk to Glen Providence Park nearly every day. Broomall's Lake swim club has a special interest. Commuters from UP have a special interest, Delaware County has a special interest, and on and on. Many of us have an interest in the outcome of this process. However, I think the way the process has been designed by Borough Council and the CAC, with opportunities for input from every resident and business owner in Media, ensures that any individual's "special interest" cannot steer the project. We all share the same goal, which is to make 3rd Street between West Street and Kirk Road safe again, in a timely and affordable manner.
