Say it Ain't Snow—Updated Weekend Forecast

Saturday's looking sloppy for outdoor activities.

Will it snow... yes or no?

First the forecast said yes. Then Friday morning it was no.

As of 2 p.m. Friday, snow was back in the National Weather Service Forecast in Media.

Storms move, conditions change and so do forecasts. Hey, this is the Northeast, not southern California.

The "S" word made for some great TV weather excitement on Wednesday and Thursday but by Friday morning there was no mention of flurries in the National Weather Service Forecast for Media. Now the S-word (SNOW) is back in for Saturday before 2 p.m. Less than a half inch of snow is possible, the report said.

No matter what, it will be a chilly and wet Saturday. Temperatures are predicted in the 40s, with a low of 34.

However, it appears the sun returns, appropriately enough, on Sunday when the Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys in a Sunday night game.

The Philadelphia area had more than 40 inches of snow last winter, roughly twice as much as a normal winter.
