Trash Collection for Christmas
Some Media Patch municipalities will see a trash collection change during the Christmas holiday.
Media Patch municipal buildings will be closed for the Christmas holiday on both Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25.
Below is a trash and recyclable pick-up schedule for area municipalities over the Christmas holiday:
Edgmont Township—Administrative offices will be closed both Monday and Tuesday. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private hauler.

Media Borough—Administrative offices will be closed both Monday and Tuesday. Trash and recycling will not be picked up on Tuesday, Dec. 25 and will be collected on Wednesday, Dec. 26 instead. Monday, Dec. 24 collections will remain the same. Trash and recycling will not be picked up on Tuesday, Jan. 1 and will be collected on Wednesday, Jan. 2 instead. Monday, Dec. 31 collections will remain the same.
Middletown Township—Administrative offices will be closed Monday through Wednesday and will reopen Dec. 27. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private hauler. The regular area recycling collection days will continue as normal.

Upper Providence Township—Administrative offices will be closed both Monday and Tuesday. Trash and recycling will not be collected on Tuesday, Dec. 25 or Tuesday, Jan. 1. If your collection falls on that day, it will be picked up on the next scheduled collection day.
