Trash Collection for New Years Holiday
Some Media Patch municipalities will see a trash collection change during the New Years holiday.
Most Media Patch municipal buildings will be closed for the New Years holiday on both Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
Below is a trash and recyclable pick-up schedule for area municipalities over New Years:
Edgmont Township—Administrative offices will be open for a half day on Monday and closed on Tuesday. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private hauler. half

Media Borough—Administrative offices will be closed both Monday and Tuesday. Trash and recycling will not be picked up on Tuesday, Jan. 1 and will be collected on Wednesday, Jan. 2 instead. Monday, Dec. 31 collections will remain the same.
Middletown Township—Administrative offices will be Tuesday. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private hauler.
The regular area recycling collection days will continue as normal.

Upper Providence Township—Administrative offices will be closed Monday, Dec. 31. Trash and recycling will not be collected on Tuesday, Jan. 1. If your collection falls on that day, it will be picked up on the next scheduled collection day.
