The Delaware County SPCA is keeping track of every pound Curious George, an emaciated dog, gains as he recovers at the facility.
Curious George, a pitbull bulldog mix, arrived at the weighing 35 pounds on Oct. 31. He should weigh about 70 pounds.
But the emaciated dog continues to gain weight and is improving every day. There is a strong hope that he will make a full recovery.
Curious George was taken to the SPCA by a concerned citizen after he was found in the Boothwyn area. There is a $1,000 reward being offered for information leading to the prosecution of Curious George’s owner.

Officials have identified a few former owners of George but there have not been any arrests yet.
