There isn't always time to sit down and read the news. So in case you missed any of the week's stories, here's a look at what happened in the greater Media area over the course of the week.

We introduced you to "Dino Don" who is a dinosaur connoisseur amongst many other accomplishments. He'll be bringing his dinosaurs to the Granite Run Mall soon. We started a feature called "Musical Chairs" that will profile local bands. So send your submissions our way. The Media Borough Council approved the final plans for the Hampton Inn project and denied a change of recycling collection day for the borough. And our Mommy Follies column discussed a problem with hoarding....strollers.

Friday, Aug. 19

Media Borough Council approved the final development plan for the proposed Hampton Inn at Beatty and Providence roads.

Media Borough Council denied a proposal to change the recycling collection day.

As if the amount of things you accumulate once you have children isn't enough to clutter your home, you find yourself having one, two, sometimes five of the same thing.

This 9-week-old puppy, named Napoleon, may be small but he isn't short on affection. He is available for adoption at the DelCo SPCA.
