There isn't always time to sit down and read the news. So in case you missed any of the week's stories. Here's a look at what happened in the greater Media area over the course of the week. The Penncrest cheerleaders came up slightly short in the Central League Championship competition and the ice hockey team fought hard in the playoffs but eventually lost to Springfield. There was a car crash that brought down a utility pole on Painters Road. The Media Film Festival, featuring the first horror fest and the film Bazaar of All Nations, was held this week. And community members protested outside a Congressman's office to show their disappointment in his vote to cut federal funding from Planned Parenthood. Check out these stories below and more to get a full recap of all the week's news.
