There isn't always time to sit down and read the news. So in case you missed any of the week's stories, here's a look at what happened in the greater Media area over the course of the week.

We had our first real snow fall this weekend. Remember to upload your snow photos to Media Patch all winter. You voted for best wings in Media Patch and the Plumstead Inn won. Two men were arrested and charged after they tried to rob a woman in a Granite Run Mall parking lot. We gave you the Top 8 most expensive homes sold in 2011. A local photographer created a "naked calendar" in the hopes of raising money for musicians without health insurance.

St. John Chrysostom appeals the Blue Ribbon Commission's recommendation to close the school and merge with Nativity BVM at its Media facility, according to The Delaware County Daily Times.
