Media Borough Council voted 5-2 in favor of replacing the existing 3rd Street dam at its Thursday meeting.

Fire ignited at the abandoned Sleighton School in Middletown in the early morning hours Wednesday.

State Budget Cuts May Affect State Police Towns

Middletown, Edgmont and other Delaware County and Chester County municipalities could lose thousands of dollars in revenue if a proposed 2012-13 budget by Gov. Tom Corbett is adopted, according to the Delaware County Daily Times.

Delaware County Community College has announced their dates for their Pennsylvania High School Equivalency Diploma preparation course this summer.
