There isn't always time to sit down and read the news. So in case you missed any of the week's stories, here's a look at what happened in the greater Media area over the course of the week.

This week, we gave you breaking news that the Delaware County Courthouse was evacuated due to a bomb threat. No bomb was found and the public was allowed to return after the property was searched. The Rose Tree Media School District approved its budget. State Police released a photo of a car that may have been involved with a shooting. And we covered the Delaware County Hero Bowl.

The Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate two separate shootings that occurred at a Middletown residence and a Chester Heights bank. No one was injured in either shooting.

The Rose Tree Media Board of School Directors unanimously approved the 2012-2013 general fund budget at its meeting last week.

The Delaware County Courthouse was evacuated for about three hours due to a bomb threat Tuesday morning.

The Memorial Day parade and ceremonies in downtown Media drew a large, patriotic crowd to observe the many enthusiastic participants and decorated war veterans.
