There isn't always time to sit down and read the news. So in case you missed any of the week's stories, here's a look at what happened in the greater Media area over the course of the week.

We told you about 320 Market Cafe opening its second location on State Street. Media Business Authority is offering parking debit cards for parking meters. Curious George's former owner was found and cited and applications for George's adoption are now being taken at the SPCA. We got you ready for your Black Friday shopping with deals and store hours. And sadly, a 24-year-old man  died at Rose Tree Park this week. He was a Marple Newtown High School graduate and a United States Marine. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Geraghty family.

The Pennsylvania State Police will step up its traffic enforcement over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Funeral service for Rocky Geraghty, 24, of Broomall, who was 2005 Marple Newtown grad and a U.S. Marine, will be held on Friday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Newtown Square.

Richard "Rocky" Gerarghty, 24, died on Nov. 21. The cause of death was suicide.

Tuesday, Nov. 22

The Delaware County Medical Examiner officially ruled the manner of death of the man found at Rose Tree Park a suicide.

Officials have not confirmed the man's cause or manner of death awaiting the medical examiner's report however it appears to have been a suicide.

The former owner of Curious George, the emaciated American Bulldog-Pit Bull mix, has turned himself in to authorities.

Reports were received around 10:50 p.m. on Nov. 21 about an incident reported at Rose Tree Park in Upper Providence Township.
