What's Closed Over New Year Holiday

In observance of the New Year holiday, most government buildings will be closed both Monday and Tuesday and some local businesses will be closed, while some will have limited hours.

The following businesses will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, unless otherwise stated.

Municipal Buildings

• Edgmont Township Building: Open half day Monday, Closed Tuesday
• Media Borough Building: Closed Monday and Tuesday
• Middletown Township Building: Closed Tuesday
• Upper Providence Township Builidng: Closed Monday

Mail

• U.S. Post Office: Closed at noon Monday, Closed Tuesday
• UPS Store: Open Monday, Closed Tuesday

Automotive

• Department of Motor Vehicles: Closed Tuesday

Beer and Liquor Stores

• County Beverage: Closed at 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday (May close early)
• Lima Beverage: Closed at 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday (May close early)
• Wine and Spirits: Closed at 8 p.m. Monday, Closed Tuesday

Banks

• Wells Fargo: Closed at 5 p.m. Monday, Closed Tuesday
• Bryn Mawr Trust: Regular hours Monday, Closed Tuesday
• Republic First Bank: Regular hours Monday, Closed Tuesday
• United Savings Bank: Closed at 3 p.m. Monday, Closed Tuesday
• TD Bank: Closed at 6 p.m. Monday, Closed Tuesday

Libraries

• Media-Upper Providence Free Library: Closed at 5 p.m. Monday, Closed Tuesday
• Middletown Free Library: Closed Monday and Tuesday

Grocery and Convenience Stores

• Trader Joe’s: Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Closed Tuesday
