What are the larger issues facing the municipality and how would you like to see them resolved?

I have always felt lucky to call Media my hometown. Over the years it has become more and more evident that the reason everyone wants to visit, shop and live here is due the hard work and dedication that happens behind the scenes. Issues such as higher home prices, less parking, and a more crowded downtown can be of concern but also serve as a compliment to the successes of this town. 

Serving on the Comprehensive Plan Task Force has really helped me appreciate how important it is to get directly involved in my community to address and solve the issues that come with success. I feel passionate that building community is the key to sustaining a viable future for any town. I believe that the residents of this town play an integral role in the future of Media and that together we can create the values and vision of Media for the next 10 years and make it the best town it can be.

Would you welcome more transparency with the taxpayers? How could you make that possible? 

I believe in any line of work there is always room to improve the path of communication. I thoroughly enjoy connecting with people and finding commonalities between different groups. I like to think outside of the box and  believe there are many creative ways we can improve upon in keeping Media residents up to date on current issues and happenings. I support the IT strategic plan initiative and believe it will identify ways for the borough to use technology to communicate with residents better.

If elected, what changes would you like to see in the municipality or what is working well and you'd like to continue?

I can't stress enough the importance of thoughtful process. I believe that the new comprehensive plan will map out a road to Media’s continuing success. 

Why should residents give you their vote?

I am a positive, forward thinker who likes a challenge. I am creative, dedicated and a natural born leader. I feel deeply rooted, connected and committed to Media. I am excited about the possibility of being an integral part in helping to continue to move this town forward in the right direction. I am proud to be called a Median!
