What are the larger issues facing the borough and how would you like to see them resolved?

The biggest issue is the lack of leadership being shown by the present borough council regarding the two most important matters facing Media. They are the rebuilding and reopening of the vital 3rd Street Bridge and the proposed new Wawa market at Providence Road and Baltimore Pike.

The majority of borough residents want these issues resolved by council agreeing to support and move forward on building a two-way, two lane vehicular bridge the way it always was and granting approval for the Wawa market with specific attention and concern given to improving and increasing the safety and efficient functioning of the Providence Road-East State Street-Baltimore Pike intersection area.

Proper development of our community with priority given to protecting and enhancing our residential base so that Media will always be a home for people is and has always been my top priority.

Would you welcome more transparency with the taxpayers? How could you make that possible?

Yes, there needs to be more interaction with voters, but that is what elections are for. Candidates need to get out and communicate with people to determine their concerns and I have always done that and did so twice this year. If elected, I would continue to meet with citizens to discuss issues face to face.

If elected, what changes would you like to see in the borough or what is working well and you'd like to continue?

A wider range of Media citizens appointed to borough boards and commissions to better represent community diversity and a wider range of thought and opinions, instead of the usual politically connected individuals who support the party line on issues.

Why should residents give you their vote?

Residents should vote for me because I have more experience in borough government and community development and history than all the other candidates put together. I am one of the people for the people, both Democrats and Republicans. I am and have never been any party hack.
