Daniel Boner - A Bluegrass Christmas
Bridgeton, NJ native, Daniel Boner will present "A Bluegrass Christmas" at the historic Levoy Theatre in Millville, NJ, on Friday, December 6, at 7:30 p.m.
Multi-instrumentalist Daniel Boner has entertained bluegrass audiences around the globe. Originally from nearby Bridgeton, NJ, he grew up learning the music from family and friends who brought it with them as they migrated to the area from the Appalachian south. Since 2000, he has made his home in Johnson City, TN, where he directs the world-renowned program in Bluegrass, Old Time, and Country Music Studies at East Tennessee State University.
He will be accompanied at the Levoy Theatre by his band, Daysight, with David Babb (bass), Jason Crawford (mandolin),Josh Argo (guitar), Meade Richter (fiddle), and Brandon Green (banjo/dobro).
