Community Corner

Friday Night Live Concert

The spring season of
Community Arts Center’s Friday Night Live Concert series, which brings together
live art and live music in a casual, intimate atmosphere, kicks off on February
28th at 7:00 p.m. in the Duke Gallery.  Sponsored
by MKM Fine Art, this month’s featured
musicians are Sharon Katz & the Peace Train.   Having served as Nelson
Mandela's "Cultural Ambassadors," Sharon Katz & the
Peace Train have treated Presidents, Kings and international audiences
of all ages to a multicultural experience with their unstoppable beat and
amazing harmonies of South African music and dance. Community Arts Center is
excited to bring their uplifting music to audiences in Delaware County.  During the performance,
featured artists Olga Nielsen and Will Kasso Condry will bring art to life by
creating art that responds to the music.

Price
of admission is $15 per person or $10 for Community Arts Center members.  Light refreshments will be served and you can
also BYOB, snacks or dinner.
