It’s Day Three of Happiness Week in Media! Transition Town Media
invites you to join us and many other area organizations in celebrating the
things that make us happy – art, music, nature, our health, our families, our
community and its great spirit of fun!

Thursday,
April 24th – Family Night
:

screening of the movie, “Happy”
, 7-9pm, Media Friends School,
124 W 3rd St, Media PA 19063. This Academy Award-nominated movie combines
remarkable human stories from around the world with cutting-edge science
illuminating what makes us happy. Join us in watching and discussing this warm,
inspiring movie that can open up a deeper understanding of why and how we can
pursue more fulfilling, healthier, and happier lives.



The
Media Borough Recreation Board
will hold a Zumba Gold Class,
9-10 am, and a Zumba Class, 10-11 am, in the Community Center, 4th &
Jackson St, Media 19063.

Come meet the committee who made Media America’s First Fair Trade Town! They will be holding their weekly
meeting at 320 Market Café, 21 W State St (at Plum Street Mall), Media 19063, 10-11
am. Rumor has it there’s Fair Trade chocolate samples to be had for the asking!



Tyler
Arboretum
, 515 Painter Rd, Media PA 19063, will be hosting a children’s
class, Tiny Trackers: Let’s Peek at the Pond, from 1-2:30 pm.



The
Media Little League
will be hosting Grandparents Day!



The
Media Borough Recreation Board
will hold a Pilates Class,
7:30-8:30 pm, in the Parlor Room of the Borough Building, 301 N Jackson St,
Media 19063.



Suggestions for the day? Make it a Family Night – have dinner in with
your family and maybe some of the neighbors, or have the neighbors over for a
game night, a sing-along, or soap bubble party, close the street (if you can)
and have a block party, take a moment to appreciate your family, friends, and
neighbors.
