ULI South Jersey Regional Satellite Presents Hard-Hat Tour of Camden’s New Kroc Center

Through a substantial bequest from the Ray & Joan Kroc Foundation, the Salvation Army is creating community centers in urban areas across the country. Kroc Community Center, located in Camden, is the first one in New Jersey. Join our South Jersey Regional Satellite for a special pre-completion tour of this 120,000-square-foot facility that includes a town center, gymnasium, two aquatic venues, teen center, senior center, food pantry, black-box theater, chapel, early childhood learning center and more.  The Salvation Army’s Major Paul Cain will provide background and discuss the role of this new facility in strengthening the Camden community.  A hard-hat tour will be led by the project architect from Kitchen & Associates.  A hard-hat tour will be led by the project architect from Kitchen & Associates. This is an active construction site so appropriate attire is required (no open shoes; bring your own hard hat if you have one.)
