Media Halloween Parade, Extravaganza Set for Saturday
Show off your scary (or adorable) at the Halloween Parade in Media Borough on Saturday.
Calling all ghosts, goblins, princesses and pirates to the 49th Annual Halloween Parade on Saturday in Media Borough.
The parade will march down State Street to Orange Street and on to Front Street at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 27.
Plenty of area high school bands, dance teams, fire trucks, antique cars and lots of costumes will fill the streets.
Before the parade, the Media Recreation Board will host its annual Halloween Extravaganza from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Media Community Center, where there will be games, food, and goodie bags.
Costumes are of course welcome and prizes will be awarded to the best costume in two age groups, baby- to five- year-olds and six- to 10- year-olds.
Also, be sure to stop in and trick or treat at Media's local businesses for some candy on Saturday.
