The presents have been unwrapped and decorations are coming down and it's time to get rid of that giant tree dropping pine needles all over your living room floor.
Christmas is over.
Below is a schedule for when your municipality will be picking up Christmas trees for disposal.
Residents can place their trees curbside and a truck will come around to pick it up. There is no designated day for tree disposal.
A tree removal truck will come around the borough as needed and transport the trees to the county composting facility to be recycled.
Christmas tree collection will run from Monday, Jan. 6 through Friday, Jan. 17.
Trees should be placed at the curb and all ornaments and tinsel must first be removed, or they will not be collected. Do not wrap the tree in plastic.
The trees will be chip in Memorial Park where residents can take the wood chips to use as mulch. No landscapers please.
