Dr. Robert Carlson, 91, of West Chester and Media

After retirement, Robert and his wife Marjorie moved to Granite Farms Estates where they were instrumental in founding the "Steinway Piano Program" including the purchase of a piano and coordinating the frequent performances. They both enjoyed traveling to elder hostel programs and also enjoyed preparing and delivering programs on historical subjects and events at Granite Farms Estate and elsewhere. Barbara Fetters, 71, of Media

Barbara grew up in Media on Maple Linden Farm where she spent many days mowing lawns. She was in the first graduating class from Penncrest High School. She worked at Elwyn many years as a counselor where she retired in 2003 after more than 25 years of service. [Legacy.com/Delco Times]

Anne Grewe, 95, of Media

Anne was a volunteer at Riddle Memorial Hospital for 34 years. She spent countless hours giving to the hospital community. She also volunteered at the Rose Tree Media Schools. She enjoyed knitting, playing the lottery and spending time at the seashore both in Cape May and Ocean City. [Legacy.com/Delco Times]

Barbara Guss, 71, dies

An elementary school teacher, her 36 year career began in the Rose Tree Media School District. She then went on to educate generations of children in the West Chester Area School District until her retirement in 2002. [Legacy.com/Daily Local]

Agnes Theresa Luglio, 95, of Media

Agnes was a long time member of the Nativity BVM Catholic Church in Media, PA. During World War II she was a "Conductorette" on the Red Arrow Trolleys in suburban Philadelphia. She enjoyed volunteer work at thrift shops, swimming, walking, shuffleboard and playing cards, bingo and board games. She competed in the Delaware County Senior Olympics and won the Shuffleboard Championship at age 79. [Legacy.com/Delco Times]
