County Councilman Dave White does guest role in Media Theatre’s “Spamalot”

Delaware County Councilman Dave White will lend his voice to the Media Theatre’s current production of the Monty Python musical, “Spamalot,” when he is the celebrity guest for the “Voice of God” in the Sunday matinee performance on Oct. 27.

Each week, local notables add a bit of fun to the Media Theatre production by playing the off-stage “Voice of God” in the first act. Since “Spamalot” opened in Media on Sept. 25, guest celebrities have included Daily Times Editor Phil Heron, Fox TV’s Sue Serio and WMGK radio host Debbie Calton.

White said he supports the Media Theatre not only as an entertainment venue, but as a historic landmark in Media that draws 50,000 patrons to Media each year and has created 100 fulltime equivalent jobs.
