Boy's Volleyball Returns to Media

Boy's volleyball is back! Sundays 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Media Providence Friends School. Be a part of the revolution.

After a long hiatus, boy's volleyball is finally returning to Media thanks to Liberty Bell Volleyball Club.

Volleyball is a fantastic low-injury sport that teaches

  • Teamwork
  • Hand-Eye coordination
  • Lateral movement
  • Agility

It also provides

  • Excellent cross-training for other sports—volleyball is a total body sport
  • Many opportunities for positive reinforcement from teammates and coaches
  • An opportunity for all players to be involved
  • A sport that can be played well into adulthood

The Liberty Bell program is run by Shipley Coach Bob Buchanan and the coaches are great with little kids.

The Under 10 boys program for boys in 2nd through 4th grades is starting on Sunday, Jan. 27 and will be at Media Providence Friends School from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

A personal experience

My son played in the girls program in the fall and loves the sport and the coaches.

He just didn't like playing with the girls!

Volleyball is a great whole-body sport that kids can play their whole lives and has a very low injury risk. Please help us build a strong boys program in Media.

My son will be there on the 27th - how about yours?
