1 Minor Injury Following Car Crash Involving School Bus

A two-vehicle crash involving a school bus left one with a minor injury, State Police said.

A two-vehicle crash involving a school bus left one with a minor injury on Tuesday, according to the Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks.

A Toyota Avalon driven by a 40-year-old Aston man was driving behind a school bus on Church Road in Middletown Township at approximately 8:45 a.m on Jan. 3, State Police said.

The school bus, with its red lights activated, was stopped to pick up school children when the Avalon was unable to stop and rear ended the school bus, State Police said.

There were 19 students, all juveniles, involved in the crash and one sustained a minor injury, State Police said.

The driver of the Avalon was cited for following too closely, State Police said.
