2010 Crime Stats For Delaware County Community College

Delaware County Community College publishes their most recent annual Campus Security Report.

, located in , publishes their yearly crime statistics annually. The Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act, enacted by the U.S. Congress in 1990 (Act 20 U.S.C. 1092), requires each institution of higher education to prepare, publish and distribute to all students and employees an annual security report by Oct. 1 of each year, states the college.

According to the college's website, DCCC complies with federal, state and local laws including, but not limited to, those which regulate the possession, use and sale of alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs and weapons, sexual assault, destruction of College equipment and buildings, theft, gambling and disorderly conduct.

Overall, the crime statistics for Part 1 Offenses in 2010 have doubled since 2009, while Part 2 Offenses have also increased over the past three years.
