$3,500 in Electronics Stolen from Unlocked Car, Police Say

Also, two Kitchen Aid mixers, valued at almost $900, and bottles of cologne were taken in separate retail thefts from Kohl's, police say.

The following Middletown and Edgmont township incidents have been supplied by the Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks. Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to call police at 484-840-1000. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Retail Theft—Kohl's at Granite Run Mall on Feb. 5. A 31-year-old Havertown man removed two bottles of cologne from the store and fled the scene with a 24-year-old Havertown woman, who was driving a vehicle, according to State Police. Both the man and woman were issued non-traffic citations in connection with retail theft, according to State Police.

Retail Theft—Kohl's at Granite Run Mall at about 9:15 p.m on Feb. 4. An unknown white woman entered the store, picked up two Kitchen Aid mixers and exited the store through a side emergency door, according to State Police. The woman then got in a vehicle, which was parked and waiting outside the store and fled the scene traveling south on Route 352, according to State Police. The total value of the stolen items was $899.98.

Theft from Motor Vehicle—Chestnut Road in Edgmont Township between 4 and 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 31. Unknown persons entered an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway and stole a large bag containing a wallet, laptop, digital camera and modem, all valued at more than $3,500, according to State Police.

Retail Theft—Boscov's at Granite Run Mall at about 3:04 p.m. on Jan. 31. A Philadelphia woman took items from the store without paying and was arrested in connection with retail theft, according to State Police.
