Blotter: Man Clocked Driving 101 MPH in 55 Zone

Here is a list of recent incidents in Upper Providence Township reported by the Upper Providence Police Department. Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to call police at 610-566-8445. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Car Crash—900 block of N. Orange Street at about 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 10. A 30-year-old Havertown woman was driving her Honda Accord when a piece of tree fell on her windshield, smashing it, according to police. Numerous old trees are hanging over the roadway and it was undetermined which tree was involved, according to police. The woman contacted her insurance company and was escorted from the scene.
