Between $200 and $600 was stolen from the gas station, police say.

A man, armed with a kitchen knife, robbed the Sunoco at Route 352 at Gradyville Road in Edgmont Township on Wednesday, according to Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks.

At about 8:40 p.m., a white man with a stocky build and about 6-feet tall, entered the Sunoco and asked for the money out of the cash register and lottery, according to State Police.

Armed with a kitchen knife, the man handed the cashier a white bag with red and green writing on it and stole between $200 and $600, according to State Police.

He then fled the scene on foot, heading north on Rt. 352.

The robber was described as being in his early 20's with a beard and was wearing a camouflage jacket with a blue vest over it, a green ball cap, blue jeans, black gloves and black/white sneakers, according to State Police.

Police searched the area following the robbery but found nothing.
