The skeletal remains of a human foot found by a fisherman in August at Corson's Inlet State Park (just south of Ocean City, N.J.) could be that of a Philadelphia woman who has been missing since March 2012.

Action News 6abc and other news outlets are reporting that family members have been told that the remains have been identified.

New Jersey State Police have not confirmed the identification — though the reports say a medical examiner's report is likely to come later this week.
