Mall Date Results in Theft, Police Say

A victim met a man for a date and ended up losing a phone, police say.

Theft—Granite Run Mall on April 25. A man met a woman for a mutual date at the mall and after sitting in the man's vehicle for about 30 minutes, the victim got out and the man drove off with the victim's phone and keys, according to State Police. The man refused to return the items and police are working to identify the man, according to State Police.

Theft—Route 352 on April 20. Galvanized steel corrugated downspouts were stolen from the establishment, according to State Police.

Retail Theft—Kohl's at Granite Run Mall at about 8:45 p.m. on April 19. A 49-year-old Montgomery County woman removed numerous items of clothing and women's accessories valued at $314 and left the store without paying, according to State Police.

Retail Theft—Boscov's at Granite Run Mall at about 9:28 p.m. on April 18. A Sharon Hill woman was arrested in connection with a retail theft in which she allegedly took $228.99 worth of items from the store, according to State Police. All of the merchandise was recovered.

Retail Theft—Kohl's at Granite Run Mall at about 1:30 p.m. on March 23. A Media woman was arrested in connection with a retail theft at the store, according to State Police.
