Man Found Passed Out in Chick-fil-A Parking Lot, Police Say

Also, two victims report identity theft to police.

DUI—Chick-fil-A parking lot in Middletown at about 10:56 p.m. on April 12. A black Acura was observed in the rear parking lot with the driver, a Wilmington, Del. man, apparently passed out, according to State Police. EMS was called and it was determined the driver was intoxicated and a strong odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle, according to State Police. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the man was allegedly high and in possession of drugs and paraphernalia, according to State Police. He was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI, according to State Police.

Identity Theft—State Police-Media Barracks on April 12. A victim reported to police that unknown persons attempted to open a credit card account using the victim's personal information, according to State Police. Prior to allowing the transaction, the bank called to confirm with the victim, who denied applying for the card, according to State Police.

Identity Theft—Meadow Park Lane in Middletown between April 10 and 11. Unknown persons gained access to the victim's credit card account and fraudulently charged $1,970 in New York, according to State Police.
