Marijuana Plants, Irrigation Found in Middletown Home, Police Say

Also, the former Sleighton School property was vandalized, police say.

Theft/Criminal Trespass—Sleighton School property at about 3:51 p.m. on April 1. Two men were seen on private property with stolen items allegedly in their possession, according to State Police. The men were arrested and processed, according to State Police.

Criminal Mischief—Sleighton School property at about 11:10 a.m. on March 30. Property damage was discovered at several buildings on the abandoned campus, according to State Police.

Controlled Substance—Chipmunk Lane in Middletown at about 7:25 a.m. on March 26. Police responded to the residence for an unrelated incident and during an investigation dried marijuana was found in plain view along with paraphernalia, according to State Police. A consent search was requested and was granted, according to the report. Several live marijuana plants along with all necessary irrigation and light sources to grow plants were found, according to State Police. A 24-year-old resident of the home was taken into custody, according to the report.
