How long have you been with the Media Police Department?
Less than one year with Media Police but four years total as a police officer. Pinkett was with the Upper Providence Police Department prior to Media Police and has been a paramedic for 15 years.
What do you like about your job?
I like helping people. I like to be able to do something about people's problems.
What do you dislike about your job?
I don't really dislike anything. It's a bummer when there are certain situations you just can't fix or some people just can't be helped but I don't hold that against the job.
What inspired you to become a police officer?
My years as a paramedic. Becoming an officer was an extension of that.
What do you like about the greater Media area?
It's so eclectic for such a small area. There's a little bit of everything in this tiny borough.
What do you want the general public to know about the Media Police Department?
We genuinely care about people's safety and well being, it's not just a job.
