Update: Minor 2 Car Crash in Edgmont Township Saturday

Patch caught these photos of a minor car crash in Edgmont Township Saturday afternoon.

Patch witnessed a minor car crash in Edgmont Township Saturday afternoon. 

The two-car crash occurred at about 1:22 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of West Chester Pike and Providence Road, near the new . 

A Mitsubishi Galant ran a red light and turned left across oncoming traffic, striking a Honda Accord, according to Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks.

The driver of the Galant, 18-year-old John Buri, of Media, was cited with a traffic violation, State Police said. Buri and his passenger were not injured.

The 72-year-old driver of the Accord sustained minor injuries and was transported to Riddle Memorial Hospital, State Police said.
