Help Identify Sovereign Bank Robber

Arrests in several separate bank robberies were recently made, however, an October robbery case remains open, police say.

The Media Police Department continues to investigate an October bank robbery.

Recently, an arrest in several separate bank robberies was made but a robbery that occurred at about 10:46 a.m. on Oct. 22 at the Sovereign Bank at 125 S. Providence Road in Media, remains open.

The Sovereign Bank bank robber is described as a black man between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet with a heavy build and a slight goatee, according to Media Police Chief Marty Wusinich.

The man was last seen wearing a tan work-type jacket, dark pants, and a black baseball hat with a flat brim, according to Wusinich.

So far, attempts to identify the man have been unsuccessful, according to Wusinich.
