Police Chase Man on Dirt Bike

Also, someone attempted to enter a victim's residence through a rear window, police say.

Receiving Stolen Property—Route 1 in Middletown Township at about 12:31 p.m. on March 12. A woman was driving a white Mercury, which was bearing a stolen registration plate, according to State Police. Charges were filed in District Court 32-2-48.

Burglary—Citation Lane between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on March 11. An unknown person attempted to gain entry into the victim's residence through a rear window, according to State Police. However, there was no evidence that entry was actually made, according to State Police.

Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police—Ridge Avenue at Spring Street in Middletown Township at about 9:41 p.m. on March 5. A 22-year-old man was driving a KTM dirt bike on West Knowlton Road and stopped at a traffic light at Route 352, according to State Police. The man then sped across the intersection and led police on a brief pursuit along surrounding side streets, according to State Police. He lost control of the dirt bike, crashed and was taken into custody, according to State Police. The man was charged with fleeing and eluding a police officer, DUI and other related traffic offenses.
