State Police Blotter: 2 Teens Cited for Shooting Bottle Rockets

Here is a list of recent incidents in Middletown and Edgmont townships reported by the . Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to call police at 484-840-1000. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Attempted Burglary—Rose Tree Road at about 10 a.m. on May 21. Unknown persons attempted to gain entry to the residence through a rear window by prying it open, according to State Police.

Disorderly Conduct—Bortondale and S. Old Middletown Road at about 3 a.m. on May 21. Two 19-year-old Media man were pulled over after shooting off multiple bottle rockets in the area, according to State Police. Multiple bottle rockets and other firecrackers were found inside the vehicle, according to State Police. Both men were cited and released.

Retail Theft— at the at about 7:40 p.m. on May 19. Stephen William Godalla, 19, of Lester, was charged in connection with retail theft, according to State Police. Godalla concealed jewelry on his person and left the store without paying, according to State Police. Charges were filed in District Court 32-2-48.

Theft by Unlawful Taking— on Baltimore Pike between May 18 and 21. Unknown persons stole six emission stickers and 24 inspection stickers, according to State Police. The stickers were not in a locked location at the time of the theft, according to State Police.

Theft by Unlawful Taking—Wooded Lane between May 18 and 21. Unknown persons removed jewelry from the victim's bedroom, according to State Police.

Theft— between 8 and 9:30 p.m. on May 18. Unknown persons stole about $100 cash from the victim's armoire, according to State Police. The cash was stored inside some clothing, according to State Police.

Retail Theft— at the Granite Run Mall at about 8:15 p.m. on May 18. An 18-year-old man entered the store and stole two pairs of earrings valued at $72, according to State Police. He was arrested and transported for processing.

Burglary—Parkmount Road between May 14 and 16. Unknown persons entered the building and stole various firearms and an ATV, according to State Police. The ATV was recovered on May 16 near the Valleybrook condo's on Bodley and Kings roads in Chester Heights Borough, according to State Police.

Theft—Thomas Chevrolet on Baltimore Pike between May 12 and 14. Unknown persons removed four tires along with the rims from a Chevrolet Malibu parked at the Thomas Chevrolet, according to State Police.
