State Police Blotter: DUI Crash Near Firehouse, Hit and Run Crash

Fraud–Granite Run Pontiac on Feb. 24. A black man from Brookhaven used his father’s social security number to fraudulently purchase a new vehicle, State Police said. Payment has not been made and the man says he does not know where the vehicle is, State Police said. Charges are pending.

Theft of a Trailer–Moore Drive on Feb. 24. An unknown person stole a trailer and fled the scene undetected, State Police said. The trailer had a Pennsylvania license plate of XCT3442, State Police said, and anyone with information should contact police.

DUI–Route 1 Northbound near Route 452 at approximately 5:53 p.m. on Feb. 24. Philip Singles, 24, of Wilmington, Del. was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, State Police said. State Police said Singles was observed violating numerous vehicle codes. A traffic stop was conducted and he showed signs of intoxication, State Police said. Charges were filed in District Court 32-2-48.

DUI–Lenni Road near the Lenni Firehouse at approximately 2:16 a.m. on Feb. 23. Alise Dusenshine, 21, was arrested for driving under the influence, State Police said. State police said Dusenshine was driving her vehicle carelessly and crashed into a telephone pole in the area of the Lenni Fire House.

Retail Theft–Kohl’s Department Store at approximately 8 p.m. on Feb. 22. A 15-year-old white female, of Linwood, was arrested for stealing two pairs of leggings valued at $32, State Police said. Charges were filed in District Court 32-2-48.

Hit and Run–Forge Road near Stoney Bank Road at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Feb. 22. An unknown vehicle was traveling downhill, westbound on Forge Road and a Honda Civic, driven by a 22 year old from Glen Mills, was traveling uphill, eastbound, State Police said. The unknown vehicle began to slide down the snow-covered hill and struck the Honda Civic on its front driver side, State Police said. After the collision, the unknown vehicle did not stop and fled westbound on Forge Road, State Police said. The Honda Civic sustained minor damage to its front driver side and was driven from the scene by its operator, State Police said.

Theft by Unlawful Taking–Granite Run Mall between 6:30 and 7 p.m. on Feb. 16. An unknown person took the victim’s wallet when she left it on a bench inside the mall, State Police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police at 484-840-1000.
