State Police Blotter: Movie Projector, Motorcycle Taken from Residences

Here is a list of recent incidents in Middletown and Edgmont townships reported by the . Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to call police at 484-840-1000. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Retail Theft–Kohl’s Department Store at approximately 7:24 p.m. on June 14. A 28-year-old Woodlyn woman was arrested for retail theft in connection with stealing $256 worth of miscellaneous items that were recovered by Kohl’s Loss Prevention, State Police said.

Criminal Mischief–Elwyn Train State between 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on June 14. An unknown person damaged the left rear passenger side window of the victim’s vehicle, State Police said.

Theft of Motor Vehicle–N. Middletown Road between 10:30 and 11 a.m. on June 14. A 1977 Kawasaki KZ650 Motorcycle was taken from the front of the location, State Police said. The motorcycle was in front of the residence, up for sale, but was not chained to anything, State Police said. The approximate value of the motorcycle is estimated to be between $1,500 and $3,000 and it had a PA registration of 3818D, State Police said.

Underage Consumption-Disorderly Conduct–Barren Road at approximately 4 a.m. on June 10. A pickup truck was observed by State Police in a driveway with multiple people in the cab and bed of the truck, State Police said. Police stopped and the individuals fled on foot, State Police said. After a brief foot pursuit two individuals were arrested and three others were located inside the residence, State Police said. Two, 19 year olds, two, 20 year olds and a 17 year old were issued citations. State Police said.

Theft from a Motor Vehicle–Elwyn Train Station at approximately 9:57 a.m. on June 8. A catalytic convertor was cut out from the under carriage of a vehicle while parked in the parking lot, State Police said.

Drug Possession–Davidson School at Elwyn at approximately 1:25 p.m. on June 7. A 16-year-old male from Drexel Hill was arrested in connection with having 11 pink and 17 yellow pills in his possession, State Police said. The pills had not yet been identified and were sent for identification, State Police said.

Residential Burglary–Post Run in Edgmont Township between June 2 and 6. An unknown person broke a ground level window and entered an unoccupied residence, State Police said. Once inside, the person turned on several faucets and removed super 8 movies and a projector, State Police said. No other items were taken.
