State Police Blotter: Sears Employee Steals $2,598 from Store

Here is a list of recent incidents in Middletown and Edgmont townships reported by the . Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to call police at 484-840-1000. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Theft— at at about 10:29 p.m. on Aug. 28. A 19-year-old Philadelphia man and sales associate at Sears took $2,598 in cash deposits from sales made at the store, according to State Police.

Retail Theft— at Granite Run Mall at about 2:46 p.m. on Aug. 25. A 23-year-old Wilmington, Del. woman concealed multiple clothing items in her purse and within her bra and left the store without paying for the items, according to State Police. The total value of the items was about $468, according to State Police.

Retail Theft— at Granite Run Mall at about 4 p.m. on Aug. 19. Several boxes of perfume and cologne were taken from the store for a total loss of about $500, according to State Police.
