State Police Blotter: Woman Takes $641 Worth of Items from Sears

Here is a list of recent incidents in Middletown and Edgmont townships reported by the . Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to call police at 484-840-1000. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Retail Theft— at the at about 8 p.m. on May 25. Dorothy Worsih Kamara, 26, of Philadelphia was arrested and charged with retail theft, according to State Police. Kamara allegedly removed and concealed jewelry and various clothing items from the store without paying for them, according to State Police. The items were valued at $641.94.

Theft—Sleighton School on Valley Road at about 7:19 p.m. on May 24. David Haske, of Newtown Square, was arrested and charged with theft, according to State Police. Haske allegedly removed several pieces of copper piping and used tools to cut and remove the piping in order to place it in his vehicle, according to State Police. Haske attempted to leave the area but was stopped by police.

Harrassment—Glen Riddle Road between May 22 and 23. Two Media men sent harassing text messages to the victim via cell phone, according to State Police.

DUI—Police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed—43 to 50 mph—eastbound on Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore at about 1:40 a.m. April 27, police said. The vehicle also drifted over the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic several times, police said. When an officer stopped the car, the car started going again and made a right turn onto Remington Road. The car was eventually stopped again on the 1000 block of Remington Road, police said. The driver failed a field sobriety test and blew a .21, police said. Neal Pelesh, 48, of the 600 block of Rose Tree Road in Media, was charged with DUI, police said.
