State Police Make Several Retail Theft Arrests
Clothing, jewelry and various items were stolen in retail thefts recently, police say.
The Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks made several retail theft arrests throughout December.
On Dec. 26, a 32-year-old Brookhaven woman stole various clothing items from JC Penney at the Granite Run Mall, according to State Police. Charges were filed in District Court 32-2-48.
On Dec. 26, a 17-year-old man was arrested in connection with a retail theft from Boscov's at the Granite Run Mall, according to State Police. Charges were filed in District Court 32-2-48.
On Dec 24, two juveniles stole jewelry from Kohl's at the Granite Run Mall, according to State Police. Charges were filed in District Court 32-2-48.
On Dec. 19, a 21-year-old Brookhaven woman and 17-year-old man selected items throughout Kohl's at the Granite Run Mall and the woman then went to a fitting room and concealed the items on her person, according to State Police. The two then fled the store and the area in a vehicle, according to State Police, but the store's security was able to identify the vehicle and the two thieves were arrested at their residence.
On Dec. 7, a Chester woman was arrested in connection with a retail theft in the amount of about $78 from Kohl's at the Granite Run Mall, according to State Police.
On Dec. 3, a Chester Heights woman was arrested in connection with a retail theft at Sears at the Granite Run Mall, according to State Police.
