State Police Respond to Copes Lane Burglary

The following information was provide by the Pennsylvania State Police.

State Police responded to a reported robery on Copes Lane in the Media area during the week of June 25.

According to a release from the police, unknown persons gained entry to a residence through one of the windows at the rear of the house. Once inside, they removed change from a glass bowl downstairs and a H.P. digital camera from the victim's bedroom.

The victim discovered the burglary that evening upon returning home but did not contact the police, according to State Police. The next day, the victim returned home from work to find one Ryobi circular saw, two nail guns, and one buck knife missing despite no forced entry.

The persons fled the scene in an unknown direction by unknown means, and police are investigating the incident.
