Threatened Man Pulls Gun on Disorderly Pair, Police Say

Also, jewelry, computer equipment and cash were stolen in a separate burglary, police say.

Burglary/Theft—1100 block of E. Baltimore Pike between April 19 and 20. Unknown persons stole copper from the address, according to the State Police.

Simple Assault/Criminal Mischief—1000 block of Baltimore Pike at about 11:30 p.m. on April 19. A 29-year-old man and 24-year-old man were acting disorderly and damaging property in the hallway of an apartment building, according to State Police. A 50-year-old man came outside his apartment and asked the two to quiet down when the 24-year-old charged the man in a hostile and aggressive manner, according to State Police. The 50-year-old retreated to his residence and got a pistol, as he felt he was in immediate physical danger, according to State Police. The 24- and 29-year-old then retreated to another apartment but later returned to damage the 50-year-old's door, according to State Police. The total damage to the apartment property was about $1,000, according to State Police.

Attempted Burglary—100 block of Latches Lane between April 2 and 3. Unknown persons damaged the victim's door lock attempting to gain entry into the home, according to State Police.

Burglary—100 block of Moore Drive between 5 and 8:50 p.m. on March 16. Unknown persons entered the victim's residence and removed jewelry, computer equipment and cash, according to State Police.

Disorderly Conduct—Indian Orchard Park at about 6 p.m. on March 15. Juveniles engaged in a mutual fight, according to State Police.

Harassment—Riddle Memorial Hospital at about 6:30 p.m. on March 14. A 48-year-old Chester Springs man and a 34-year-old Linwood woman were both cited for harassment during a road range incident, according to State Police.
