Truck Fire Leads to 4 Arrests

Four local men were arrested and charged in connection with an arson, police say.

Four local men were recently arrested and charged in connection with an October arson, according to State Police-Media Barracks.

Charges were filed against Albert E. Hoyle II, 21, of Media, James A. Pauciello Jr., 22, of Folcroft, Edward A. Boyd, 27, of Parkside, and Thomas Keller, 19, of Brookhaven.

Hoyle was charged with arson, conspiracy, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and other related offenses, according to court documents. He is currently in Delaware County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $100,000 bail.

On after it was set on fire in the woods, according to police and fire officials. No one was injured.

A 1997 Ford F-150 was located on a dirt trail just off Mt. Alverno Road by Chester Creek and was fully engulfed at about 2:45 a.m. on Oct. 17, according to State Police-Media Barracks.

The registration plate on the pick-up truck was still visible and an investigation revealed the truck was stolen, according to State Police.
