TVs, Laptops, iPad, Jewlery, ATV Stolen in 4 Middletown Burglaries

The  have reported four separate burglaries in the Middletown Township area in recent weeks.

Unknown persons forced their way into a South New Middletown Road residence between 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. on July 12 and removed a 46-inch LCD flat screen television, a 51-inch plasma flat screen television, a MSI laptop, a Dell laptop, a book bag containing an iPad2, a Nikon camera, a South Korean passport, Korean bank account information and three packs of cigarettes, according to State Police.

The persons also removed the keys to two ATVs from the house and stole one of them, a blue 2011 Yamaha Grizzly 450, according to State Police. The ATV was driven through a wooded area toward Indian Orchard Park located off Copes Lane, according to State Police.

The back door of a Chestnut Avenue home was pried open by unknown persons between 8:15 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. on July 10, according to State Police. Once inside the persons removed a 37-inch Toshiba flat screen television, valued at $700, and a Nintendo Wii, valued at $300, according to State Police.

Between July 6 and 16, unknown persons forced their way into a Darlington Road home through a back door and stole two laptops, a blue jewelry box containing class rings and other items and a bottle of Tylenol-codeine, according to State Police.

Unknown persons gained access to an Apple Avenue residence between July 6 and 8 through a basement door, according to State Police. Multiple items were stolen from the residence.
